Does anyone else think about the bravery of Officer James who responded to the scene on North Summit Avenue? Having to face such a volatile and life-threatening situation must have taken immense courage. It can't be overlooked that he managed to dodge gunfire while trying to assist Maria Teresa Aguiar. I can't imagine what it was like for him, witnessing such violence and tragedy unfold, and yet, having to keep focused under fire.
My heart truly goes out to Maria Teresa’s family and those who lost loved ones in this senseless act of violence. Pasadena lost some truly special people that day. I'm hoping that those affected by this tragedy know they have a community standing behind them, offering support and seeking justice alongside them.❤️

I wanted to bring attention to the neighbor, Jose Hernandez Iribe, who ran towards the gunfire. It's incredibly brave and speaks volumes about his character. In a situation where most of us would instinctively run away, he moved towards danger, potentially to help others. My heart goes out to his family; his courage shouldn't be forgotten amidst this tragedy. True heroes often appear in the darkest of times, and while his actions were not enough to halt the tragedy, they certainly shine a light on his bravery and selflessness.
