Timothy's story deeply resonates with me, especially as someone who has seen the damaging effects of gang violence in my own neighborhood. The fact that he was trying to make a fresh start makes this entire situation even more tragic. I can't help but feel for his family, especially his kids who’ve lost their father. I read that he was working hard to create a better future, looking for a job, and focusing on his family. It's heartbreaking to see someone trying to turn things around only to have such an unjust end. It's shocking how an area can entrap generations in this cycle, and I wish there was more support for those trying to break free from it. For those who knew him personally or any locals, do you feel there has been enough focus on preventing this kind of violence in the community since this happened? Anything positive happening in the neighborhood to give others a chance that Timothy hadn’t? I truly hope his family finds peace and justice eventually.
