Has anyone else been thinking about the friend who tried to intervene? I can’t stop imagining what they must be feeling knowing they were so close but unable to stop the tragic events from unfolding. The courage it must have taken to head over to the apartment after that call, only to arrive and hear gunshots... I can’t even begin to fathom that kind of anguish. It’s heartbreaking that despite their best efforts, the outcome was still so tragic. I hope this friend, along with the rest of Narcisa’s family, has access to the support they need to process such an unimaginable event. It’s a painful reminder of how quickly things can escalate and the real importance of reaching out when someone you know is in crisis. Sending my love to everyone affected by this senseless tragedy. ?
