I've been thinking about how Nazario Barajas' case highlights the challenges faced by families seeking justice. It must have been incredibly difficult for Nazario's family to see Sotelo-Moreno evade capture for so long. I can't imagine the agony they must have gone through, knowing the person who caused them so much pain was out there. It goes to show how relentless detectives need to be, especially when a suspect flees and international laws come into play. Even though Sotelo-Moreno was eventually brought back and sentenced, that waiting period must have been excruciating for everyone involved. My thoughts are with Nazario’s family. I hope they have found some peace, even though the loss is something they will carry forever. ❤️
