I've been closely following the case of Dominique Jamar Parks, and something that caught my attention was the role of video evidence in the trial. I feel for Dominique’s family, especially since such evidence plays a big part in trying to get justice, but its reliability can be so contentious. In this case, prosecutors relied heavily on surveillance video, but if it's true that it was too blurry to make a positive ID, then that’s a real problem. It’s heartbreaking to think how a technical aspect like video quality might stand in the way of getting justice for Dominique. I can't imagine how tough it must be for his loved ones to deal with that kind of uncertainty. I really hope they find peace and that justice is ultimately served. Sending strength to everyone involved.
