I've been following the case of Jose De Jesus Cabral, and it's been on my mind a lot lately. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends are going through, knowing that no one has been held accountable for his death. The fact that he was just gathered with some friends when this happened is absolutely chilling. It seems like the kind of thing that can happen to anyone, which makes it even more terrifying. I really hope that someone out there knows something and has the courage to come forward. I've heard the detectives, Hugo Cortes and Oscar Valenzuela, are doing their best, but they need our help. Even the smallest detail might make a difference in breaking this case wide open. Given how gun violence continues to plague the area, solving this could maybe spark some more significant change. Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who knew Jose.

I came across the case of Jose De Jesus Cabral while looking into unsolved incidents in Long Beach, and it deeply touched me. It’s so distressing to think about him being with his friends and suddenly facing such a terrifying situation. One detail that keeps playing in my mind is the location of the attack. The 2300 block of East 10th Street sounds like a place where people should feel safe gathering with friends. I can’t help but wonder if anyone living nearby might have noticed something unusual that night or maybe even remembered seeing someone unfamiliar in the area. It’s terribly frustrating to know that despite the police’s efforts, justice hasn't been served yet. I'm hoping that maybe someone who wasn’t sure about speaking up back then might feel encouraged to come forward now, even if it’s just the smallest detail that could help detectives connect the dots. My thoughts are with Jose’s family and friends. It's truly an injustice that they’re still waiting for answers.
