I've been following the case of Manuel Colio, and something I find really puzzling is that despite his height (6'2"), which is quite noticeable, there haven't been any credible sightings since he vanished. You'd think someone that tall and distinctive would stand out.
Given his age and the description provided, it's concerning that he could just disappear without any trace. I've heard that many older adults, especially those in vulnerable situations like living in shelters, might not always stay in one place, but usually, there's at least a trace or some local sightings. Has anyone looked into whether he might have traveled to a nearby city or if there were any bus or train station sightings reported around that time?
If anyone has connections in the area or remembers anything from 2007, it would be great to gather any small details. Every bit of info could help authorities get closer to solving this mystery.
I've been following Manuel Colio's case for years, and one detail that always sticks out to me is his height. At 6'2", he would definitely stand out, especially in a community like Concord. It's puzzling how someone of his stature can vanish without a trace. I wonder if his height could have been a factor in why he's harder to find, perhaps making him more noticeable to those wary of being identified themselves. If he had any distinctive mannerisms or noticeable traits, it could jog someone's memory who might have seen him after April 6, 2007. I hope someone remembers something soon—it's been way too long without any answers.
Has anyone else looked into the circumstances around Manuel Colio's last day at the shelter? It's surprising how little info there is considering all the staff and residents who could potentially have seen something. Was there any CCTV footage inside or outside the shelter that could have been checked? Concord isn’t that big, so I feel like someone must have seen something or remembers something. It's been so long, but maybe reaching out to people who were staying there at the time might shed some light on a detail that's been overlooked. If anyone knows any more about the shelter's layout or staff from back in 2007, I'd be interested in learning what day-to-day life was like there. It might give us some clues about what could have happened.
