Did anyone else follow the shooting of Ervin Brown back in 2015? I was reading about it again and can't believe how little info there is even now. It’s really haunting to think about being on that corner so late at night and suddenly getting attacked like that. It makes me wonder about his last moments and how he must have felt. This case really illustrates the issues with witness cooperation in certain neighborhoods. It's definitely challenging for law enforcement, but it also speaks volumes about the community’s relationship with the police. If anyone here is from the Baldwin Hills area or knows more about what happened that night, sharing what you can might really help. It’s so important for us as a community to remember Ervin as more than just another statistic and to push for answers. My heart goes out to his family and friends who have had to endure such prolonged pain without closure.

Hi all, I’ve been following Ervin Brown's case, and I wanted to talk about something that's been on my mind. The area where this tragedy happened—Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw—is a place with so much history and tight-knit community spirit. I can't help but wonder, considering how close the community is, what more we can do to encourage people to come forward with any information. It's complex because people may be scared or feel hopeless, but there must be ways to support those who want to help without compromising their safety. My heart goes out to Ervin’s loved ones; they deserve closure, and it just shows how gun violence impacts not only the victim and family but the entire community. Anyone else have thoughts on how we can foster more open communication channels with law enforcement in these situations? Let's hope we can find a path forward and give Ervin and his family the justice they deserve.
