I was reading up on the case of Scott Anthony Sartain, and something that really puzzles me is how incredibly difficult it must be for investigators to pursue a conviction without a body. In Sartain’s case, it’s astonishing how they managed to convict both suspects, Kelly Munn and Alejandro Orona, given the circumstances. From what I understand, the evidence and witness testimonies must have been extremely compelling. I wonder if there were any decisive pieces of forensic evidence, or if the testimonies from the witnesses were just that powerful. Anyone else have thoughts on how these types of cases are successfully prosecuted? It seems both rare and incredibly challenging.
I’ve been digging into the case of Scott Sartain, and there’s an aspect that’s really puzzling me. With both Munn and Orona convicted and both serving long sentences, I can't help but wonder why Sartain's body has never been found. Wasn’t there a chance that someone involved would reveal the location in exchange for a reduced sentence or some other kind of deal?
The fact that they were able to dispose of his body and dismantle his vehicle without leaving a single trace is chilling. It makes me think there might be others who know more but are keeping quiet, or maybe there’s been a lead that hasn’t been thoroughly explored yet. Anyone else have thoughts on why they’d go to such lengths to make sure his remains were never found? It feels like there’s more to the story, and I’m curious what others think might have happened.
Hey folks, I’ve been following the case of Scott Anthony Sartain, and something's been bugging me—there's hardly any mention of the scrap metal business where the car parts were allegedly sold. Considering the thoroughness of most investigations, isn't it strange we don’t have more details on this? You’d think there would be some traceable records or at least an effort to identify parts of his vehicle. Maybe it wasn't prioritized because they already had strong evidence against Munn and Orona, but it just seems like a missed opportunity to find additional leads, maybe even narrowing down areas where they might have disposed of remains. Anyone else think there might be more to uncover here?
