Has anyone else been following Victor Negrete’s case and wondering about the role that witness testimonies could play here? From what I’ve read, detectives are focused on gathering as much information as they can from people who were possibly in the area that night. It’s devastating for Victor’s family to still be waiting for justice more than eight years later. I can't help but think about how crucial it is for anyone with even the smallest bit of information to come forward. We've seen in other cases how one person's account can shift an investigation's course. Has there been any word on whether new witnesses have come forward lately? My heart goes out to Victor's loved ones, and I really hope they get the closure they deserve soon.
