I was reading up on Katherine Schmittler's case, and something struck me about that day she went missing. She was supposed to have an appointment at Kaiser Hospital, but has there ever been any confirmation that the appointment was scheduled or attended? I know it seems like such a basic question, but hospitals usually have tight records on these things. Could there have been any mix-up, or maybe someone impersonating her to create a false trail? I keep thinking that this might be a small nugget that got overlooked, or maybe it's already been considered and ruled out. Anyone have any insights or updates on this angle?

Katherine's case has always puzzled me, especially the part about her appointment at Kaiser Hospital. I keep wondering if there was anything significant about that particular appointment. Did she mention any concerns to friends or family about seeing a doctor that day? It's odd that someone leaves for a routine appointment and never makes it there without a trace. It's been so long, but maybe someone from the hospital staff might have noticed if Katherine stopped by or called on that day. Does anyone know if there were any efforts to reach out to employees who were working at the time? This angle might seem like a long shot after all these years, but you never know what little detail could lead to something more concrete.

Hey everyone, I was digging into the Katherine Schmittler case from Kahuku, Hawaii, and something struck me as odd. She lived in the same neighborhood for years, and from what I've read, she was well-liked and pretty social. So, how is it that no one saw anything on the day she went missing? Especially since she was reportedly leaving home during the morning? It makes me wonder if something happened either right at her place or shortly after she left. In a close-knit area, you'd think someone would remember seeing something. Maybe there was a lack of awareness back then, or people didn't realize they saw something important. Either way, it’s frustrating to think there's potentially someone out there with a piece of the puzzle, maybe not even realizing it. If anyone here has any thoughts or theories, I'd love to hear them. Let's keep her case active and hope we can bring some closure.
