I recently came across the case of Deontra Gant, and one thing that's really striking is how busy the street was at the time of the shooting. It's hard to imagine that more people haven’t stepped up with information. I understand that fear might play a role in this, but I hope that someone has the courage to come forward. The fact that it happened on a sidewalk, a space that's supposed to be safe, is deeply troubling. I can't help but think about his family, especially his fiancée and kids, who must be yearning for any glimmer of justice or closure. It's a reminder of how precious and fragile life is. If you were in that area back in 2015 and saw or heard anything, please consider reaching out. The reward is still there, but more than that, the family deserves answers.

Does anyone else find it eerie how some parts of this case mirror others we've seen before? I was thinking about the surveillance video angle today. It captures such crucial moments, but somehow it's still not enough for witnesses to come forward. It's so frustrating and must be incredibly painful for Deontra's family just knowing that the answers are out there, somewhere. I can't imagine the torment of seeing what happened to a loved one and yet being miles away from finding closure. For those in the area or anyone familiar with the case, do you think there are reasons why people might be hesitant to speak up? It's such a densely populated neighborhood, and it seems unlikely no one saw anything useful. My thoughts are definitely with Deontra's mom and fiancée. They have shown such strength despite everything.
