Has anyone looked into the background of Schaunttee Jamal Snodgrass's mental health or any history of domestic disputes before the tragedy? It just seems like there might have been warning signs, and maybe this could have been prevented. I can't imagine the pain Lucia's family must be going through, and it makes me think about the importance of recognizing and addressing potential red flags in relationships. It's heartbreaking to learn about situations like this where intervention might have made a difference. If anyone has more info or resources for those in similar situations, please share. My thoughts are with both families as they cope with such a devastating loss.

Unfortunately Inglewood police department keeps very quiet about cases like this or anything “crazy” that happens in Inglewood. They just closed the case , kept it quiet and moved on. Especially finding out what happened to Lucia’s son only several years later, which I’m sure has to do with the trauma of loosing his mother and father in such horrible circumstances. It saddens that this case wasn’t broadcasted more widely. All there is , is 1 or 2 articles with very simple information and that’s it smh IPD needs to do better !! Lucia and her family deserved more that just a simple online news article. I agree with you this could’ve been a perfect time for Inglewood to discuss these matters and provide more recourses to anyone who is a victim of domestic abuse .

I feel like this is the case around the country. Unless you are a celebrity you don't get the 'press' that would highlight resources for people that may be going through a domestic issue. Being in the relationship isn't the most dangerous part. It is when a person leaves or tries to set boundaries that things seem to escalate.

Sadly, that's a trend throughout most of California PDs.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Lucia Snodgrass’s case and can’t help but wonder about the signs that might've been missed leading up to this tragedy. From what we know, it seems like domestic issues played a huge role. I can’t imagine what her friends and family must be going through, rethinking everything to see if they could have intervened somehow. It’s so important for people to recognize the red flags in domestic situations, both for victims and their loved ones. If anyone knows more about resources available in Inglewood or programs that help with this kind of situation, it would be really valuable to share here. Maybe it could help prevent another tragedy like this.
Just spent some time thinking about the police response time and coordination in Lucia Snodgrass's case, and it raises some troubling points. They were on the scene pretty quick after the 911 call, but it seems like there wasn't much information released afterward. From what we know, Schaunttee Jamal Snodgrass managed to get to Centinela Hospital and take his own life. It's baffling how he managed to leave the scene and make it there. With a domestic dispute, I feel like there's often such unpredictability, and I wonder if things could have been different with a more proactive approach. My thoughts are with Lucia’s family. I can only imagine the questions and lack of closure that linger. If anyone has more insight into police procedures or similar cases, it’d be good to discuss how these unfortunate events are handled and how we can hope for better outcomes in future situations.
