Has anyone else been struck by the eerie silence surrounding the area at the time of Edmond Jerome Woods' murder? It’s been so perplexing to me since the case broke. I used to live near Vermont Knolls, and it's not the quietest of neighborhoods, especially around midnight. Someone must have seen or heard something, right? Or possibly a security camera caught footage of the street that night? It boggles my mind that there haven't been any solid leads. My heart goes out to Edmond's family; they deserve answers and justice for his tragic death. If anyone knows people still in the area or has any snippets of old news, please share. Every little bit could help bring this case the closure it so desperately needs.
It's been over eight years since Edmond Jerome Woods was senselessly taken from his loved ones, and it seems like his case has fallen into the same frustrating limbo as many others. I don’t know how his friends and family find the strength to keep going after such a loss, but I hope they know they’re not alone in this fight for justice. I’ve lived near the Vermont Knolls area my whole life, and it’s scary to think about how these cases can just go cold without answers.
It boggles my mind that in a city as big as Los Angeles, there was no one who saw something that night back in 2015. Was it really that deserted around West 82nd Street at 12:20 a.m., or is fear keeping potential witnesses quiet? Maybe someone out there has a detail they think is insignificant but could actually make all the difference. I want to believe there’s still hope for Edmond’s case no matter how hopeless it all seems sometimes.
Let's keep talking about this and not let it fade away. The Woods family deserves closure and peace. If anyone out there knows something, please speak up. Even if it feels like a shot in the dark, it could be what finally brings justice for Edmond.
