Has anyone else come across information on the weather conditions on the night Bruce Weaver went missing? I’ve been curious about how the weather played a role in the accident. I know the coast can be pretty unpredictable, but a large wave powerful enough to sink a boat sounds unusual. I'm wondering if there were any storm warnings or unusual weather patterns reported that day. Maybe there are locals here who remember if it was particularly stormy or rough. It just seems strange that they didn’t find any trace of Bruce, especially after searching such a wide area. If anyone has insight or remembers that time, it might help piece together what exactly happened out there.
I’ve been following the case of Bruce Weaver, and something has always struck me as odd about the whole situation. It's been over a decade since that tragic day at sea, and while it's not uncommon for the ocean to keep its secrets, I can't get past the fact that his companions were all rescued, but Bruce wasn’t found. Has there ever been any mention of whether the Coast Guard or local authorities conducted interviews with the survivors to rule out any foul play? Being one among friends and ending up the only one missing raises a lot of questions for me. I’m curious if anyone knows more about any protocols or processes involved in such investigations, especially maritime accidents. It feels like more could have been explored on land to match the extensive search at sea, but maybe I'm just missing something. Thoughts?
I stumbled across Bruce Weaver’s case recently and can’t stop thinking about it. There was a fascinating discussion in another forum I read about those rescue statistics during similar fishing accidents. In Bruce’s case, there were five survivors out of six people, which seems quite miraculous considering how long they were in the water. I’m curious if anyone here knows more about what factors contribute to someone’s chances of surviving a boating accident like that. Is it just luck, or are there specific survival techniques that could increase someone’s chances? I wonder if Bruce’s family took solace in knowing the odds or if it was a source of frustration. Any thoughts or expert insights would be really appreciated.
