Does anyone else find it so incredibly frustrating how cases like Reazon Owens-Green's seem to get lost in the shuffle? It's like his story gets buried under the statistics from that year. And my heart goes out to his friends and family who still don't have answers. While I understand the challenges the police face with so many cases hitting them year after year, I can't help but feel there has to be a better way to get the public to speak up. I've read that even a little bit of information can break a case wide open, but how do we encourage people to step forward when they're afraid or distrustful? Perhaps neighborhood initiatives that focus on trust and safety could be beneficial. Has anyone seen successful strategies in other cities that could be applied here?

I can’t stop thinking about Reazon Owens-Green and the impact he must have had on those around him. I've been following his case closely, and it’s so deeply unsettling to know that no justice has yet been served. It’s essential to shine a light on each victim as more than just a statistic, especially in a year when Baltimore faced such a devastating wave of violence. I read that the police had made public appeals for information, which makes me wonder if someone out there holds a piece to this puzzle. It’s crucial for community members to feel safe enough to come forward and share what they know. We've seen how powerful collective action can be, but it requires a level of trust and protection that just isn't there for many people in these neighborhoods. For Reazon's family and friends, staying silent can’t be easy, knowing that resolution feels so out of reach. I truly hope that they find some solace and that community initiatives and pressure will increase enough to turn the tide in cases like his. He's not forgotten, and neither are the others who've suffered similar fates.
