Hey everyone,
I’ve been looking into the Roy Etsitty case and found something curious. On the day Roy went missing, December 4, 2008, he was last spotted walking southwest in Chinle, Arizona. This was just a few hours after his release from the Chinle Adult Detention Facility. Does anyone have any more info on why he was headed in that direction around 3:00-4:00 p.m.?
Given the terrain and sparse residential areas, it's tough to imagine where he might have been headed, especially on foot. Did anyone local to the area know if there were any known spots that might attract someone on foot? There’s just something odd about him heading southwest and not making contact with anyone.
Any insights would be much appreciated. I'm really trying to piece together what could have happened in those crucial hours after his release.
