Does anyone know more about Rafael Watts? I've been following Laurits "Pepe" Petersen's case, and I'm trying to make sense of what happened that day. It's incredibly baffling that someone would attack a retired officer, especially one as respected as Petersen. From what I've read, Watts was apprehended right afterward, but the details around why he did it seem murky. Was there any past history between them, or was it a completely random act of violence? It's hard to imagine the impact this has had on the Stockton community, especially given Petersen’s esteemed reputation. The fact that someone else tried to intervene and also got hurt shows there were people willing to stand up and do the right thing during such a terrifying situation. That kind of bravery is remarkable. My heart goes out to all those affected, especially Petersen’s family and friends. It must be so tough trying to piece everything together while dealing with such a painful loss. If anyone's got updates, or theories that could shed some light on what happened, I'd love to hear them.
