I've been following Vallan Clinton Gavilan Jr.'s case, and something that really sticks with me is how this young man was an aspiring bodybuilder with such a promising future. It's so cruel to think about how quickly dreams can be snatched away. I feel deeply for his family, especially knowing how hard they're pushing for justice. I can't imagine the pain of speaking to your child just hours before something so tragic happens. It’s upsetting that fear of retaliation keeps potential witnesses silent. I really hope someone out there finds the courage to come forward. This family deserves answers and a sense of peace. Sending all my positive thoughts to the Gavilans during this incredibly difficult time.
I’ve been following Vallan Gavilan Jr.'s case since it happened, and I'm still baffled by how little information has come out. I can’t even begin to imagine how Vallan’s family feels, living without answers for so long. Joy Franklin Gavilan, Vallan’s mom, has shown such strength and courage despite the unimaginable loss of her son.
