I’ve been following the tragic case of Roy Fearon, and it really struck a chord with me. Reading about his funeral service at Calvary Christian Center, it’s clear how much he meant to his family and friends. I didn’t know him personally, but it sounds like he had a vibrant spirit and left quite an impression on those around him. I can’t even imagine what it was like for his loved ones to say goodbye to someone who seemed so full of life. It’s really troubling to think about how senseless violence can rip someone away from their community like that. I hope that with Christopher Nelson’s conviction, Roy’s family can find at least a little bit of peace, knowing there has been some measure of justice. If anyone here attended the service or knew Roy, I’d love to hear more about him and keep his memory alive.
