Hey everyone, I'm really curious about the decision not to charge Eddie Ruiz with robbery, despite him demanding Moglen's wallet and ID. Could it be because the focus was purely on the more severe charge of murder, or might there be insufficient evidence to support a robbery charge? It's a bit perplexing to me given the circumstances shared in the initial reports. The legal process can be so intricate, but you'd think holding someone accountable for all aspects would bring more closure, especially for Moglen's loved ones. Does anyone with more legal insight have thoughts on this? Also, I can't even begin to imagine the void left in the academic circles he was part of; losing not just a mind like his, but a person dedicated to education and progressive ideas.
