Has anyone else been following the details about Ronald Capotosto’s tragic death? I can’t believe how an innocent trip to get pool supplies ended so horrifically for him. It’s so frustrating and sad to think about a 71-year-old man, who served our country and was such a valued member of the Jurupa Valley community, losing his life in such a senseless way. I read that he was active in the Millennium Corvette Club—just imagine how many people’s lives he touched through his love of cars and his community spirit. The fact that the shooter, Raymond Fajardo, wasn’t acting alone just adds a whole new layer to all of this. It’s crucial that anyone with more information comes forward to help bring everyone involved to justice. Capotosto’s family must be going through so much, and it’s really important that they know the community stands with them and that we’re all hoping for a swift resolution.

The situation with Ronald Capotosto's tragic passing has been on my mind ever since I first heard about it. One detail that's been rattling around is the fact that he was just an innocent bystander coming home from a mundane errand—buying pool supplies. It’s a sobering reminder of how fragile life can be, how quickly the lives of loved ones can change. I can only imagine the pain his family feels, particularly his wife, Betty, who must be going through such a difficult time. The arrest of Raymond Fajardo offers a sliver of relief, but I doubt it eases the immense grief they're experiencing. What cuts even deeper is knowing Ronald served his country as a U.S. Army veteran, contributed so much to his community, and still ended up as a victim in such a senseless act. I hope the authorities continue to pursue justice relentlessly and that others involved are soon brought to account. If there’s anyone out there with information, now is the time to come forward. We owe it to Ronald and his family to help in any way we can.
