I was just reading about Edwin Phillips' murder and couldn't help but think about the community's role in solving these kinds of cold cases. It's so tough seeing such an important member of the Redding community still without justice. Edwin wasn't just a skilled mechanic; he was someone who brought laughter and life to those around him. What struck me was the lack of surveillance footage. It’s unfortunate that there wasn’t any due to it being an industrial area. I wonder if modern technological advances could help here—how often are older cases revisited with new tech? It's vital for us as a community to keep talking and sharing what we know, even the smallest detail could make a difference. Really hoping someone who knows something comes forward soon. My heart goes out to his family who are left with so many unanswered questions.
