I’ve been following the tragic case of Armando Amaya Jr. and one thing that’s haunting to me is the role domestic violence played in this horrific event. Seeing how Bryan Gallegos tracked down his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Tejada, and pursued them for miles is a chilling reminder of how dangerous and unpredictable these situations can get. It's distressing to think that what started as controlling behavior escalated to such tragic violence. For those who’ve been in similar situations with possessive exes, this is another reminder that we need better ways to address and prevent domestic violence. It makes me so sad for Armando's family and friends who have to deal with this loss every day. They deserved a future with him, and it was cruelly taken away. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved him, and I hope they find strength in each other as they continue to heal.
