I've been following the case of Larry Betancourt Demelo and something that's always bothered me is the person he was talking to just before he was shot. This person fled the scene and hasn’t been identified or questioned. It's puzzling and incredibly frustrating. If they weren't involved, why run? But if they were just scared, I really hope they come forward to help shed some light on what happened to Larry. It’s hard to imagine the pain his family must feel not knowing who did this or why. I just keep thinking how this one detail could potentially hold the key to solving everything. Sending strength and hope to his family during this difficult time.
