I can't stop thinking about Deputy Diaz's wife and family in all of this. Losing someone you love is always devastating, but to lose them in such a complex and tragic way must be unbearable. It's heartbreaking to consider that a call made with the hope of getting help led to such a devastating outcome. The mental health aspect here can't be ignored. It makes me wonder how many signs were missed or if more support could have been in place before things escalated so drastically. We need to advocate for better mental health resources and support, especially for those in high-stress jobs like law enforcement. I hope the investigation sheds light on what truly happened and paves the way for changes that could prevent future incidents. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.
