I've been thinking a lot about Maude Holden's case recently. It's just so haunting to think of how a celebratory time in her life turned into such an unimaginable tragedy. What stands out to me is the heart-wrenching image of Peter showing up at her wake with the flowers he planned to give her for their anniversary. It's moments like these that really bring the personal side of these cases into focus. How does a person go on from there?
It's shocking that, even after all these years, the person responsible hasn't been brought to justice. I can't help but wonder if there might be more information out there, maybe something small that someone has overlooked or forgotten. Sometimes, as time passes, people feel more comfortable coming forward. Let's hope that's the case here. It’s a tight-knit area, and even the smallest detail might help bring some relief to her family. I also read somewhere that people sometimes remember things years later, maybe when talking to someone or even in passing—so if anyone recalls anything unusual from that night, maybe it's time to reach out to the authorities. I really hope they find justice for Maude and her loved ones. She deserved so much better.
