I was thinking about the surveillance footage from the Aceves case and how pivotal it was in bringing justice for Juan and Heriberto. It's haunting to think that those men went in there with such brutal intent, and the footage must have been incredibly difficult for the family to watch. I can't imagine reliving those moments over and over during the trial. On a positive note, though, it's reassuring to see that technology can play such a crucial role in solving these terrible crimes and preventing those responsible from causing more harm. My heart goes out to the Aceves family—even though justice has been served, the pain they must feel is unimaginable. It’s a reminder of how important it is to have strong community support in times like these.
