Anyone else frustrated by how elusive justice can be? I’ve been reading about David Cortez’s case, and it’s so upsetting that the lack of detailed witness descriptions has hampered the investigation. I really feel for his family and friends, knowing that they don’t have the answers they deserve. Has the area been too dangerous for witnesses to feel safe coming forward? Sometimes in tight-knit or high-crime communities, fear can keep people silent. I’m hoping that someone with information will find the courage to help, especially with Crime Stoppers offering anonymity. It’s a long shot, but maybe more public attention can bring new leads. Does anyone know if there have been any recent community efforts to address safety or awareness around these issues?
