I keep thinking about the arrest of Michael Peace and how it was such a pivotal moment in this case. It must be so confusing for Mitchell Smith's family and friends, especially since the motive hasn't been revealed. I can't imagine the mix of emotions they're dealing with—relief that someone has been apprehended, but also frustration and sadness over all the things left unanswered. It's hard not to wonder what connection, if any, there was between Smith and Peace. Why was Mitchell targeted? Hopefully, the ongoing investigation will provide some clarity and bring peace to his loved ones. My heart goes out to them as they navigate through this incredibly difficult time.
