Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the courage shown by the people who witnessed such a terrifying event unfold at the Brea Marketplace on January 28, 2017. Being in such a stressful situation, with gunshots ringing out, must have been incredibly traumatic. I commend those who kept their composure enough to provide critical information to the police. Their bravery and willingness to come forward were undoubtedly key in the swift apprehension of Thomas Allen Jenkins III. My heart goes out to Alex Lin's family during this painful time, and I'm also thankful for those in our community who stepped up when it counted most. It's a powerful reminder of the role ordinary citizens can play in seeking justice.
