Philip Carl Raush, 56, was last seen by his significant other in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on December 20, 2013. He told his partner he intended to travel to California and was reported missing on January 31, 2014, after repeated attempts to contact him failed. Philip has also been known as Philip Karl Raush.

At the time he disappeared he was described as a white male, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 140 to 160 pounds, with graying, medium-length unkempt hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray pants, a beige coat, and khaki boots. He reportedly lives with a mental illness and has had previous interactions with law enforcement during mental health episodes, including encounters on highways and near railroad tracks while on foot.

Southern California agencies ran name checks on Philip between January 2, 2014, and October 17, 2014, but it is not known whether those checks corresponded to confirmed sightings. Searches of mental health and correctional facilities using his identifiers have produced no leads.
