Has anyone else been following the trial of Elliot Johnhenry Johnson and the two teens involved in the freeway shooting of Demarcus Doss? It's truly unsettling how someone's life can change in an instant. I recently read a piece discussing how Demarcus's actions saved his friend's life that day. His selflessness is honestly beyond words—such a pure and brave soul. I can't help but think about his family and how they must feel losing such a remarkable person. What's troubling me is the number of freeway shootings still happening around the Bay Area. It just makes everyday travel feel so risky. I wonder what more could be done to prevent this kind of violence. It's just all so senseless, and I hope justice brings some peace to those touched by this tragedy. Does anyone have thoughts on other initiatives or community actions that might help address this issue?
