I can't stop thinking about the impact this terrible event will have on Dina's children. It's truly unimaginable to think what they must have experienced and how it will affect them as they grow up. It breaks my heart that, at such a young and tender age, they've been exposed to such violence in their own home, where they should have felt safest. I hope the family is able to surround them with the love and support they need to heal and find some semblance of peace. It really makes you reflect on the countless others who might be in similar situations, living in fear but unsure of how to seek help. We need to continue the conversation around domestic violence and make sure no one feels trapped like this ever again. If anyone knows of resources or organizations that could help support the kids and raise awareness, please share.
