I've been thinking a lot about the incredible impact Anita and Michael Puig De Vall had on the Novato community, especially considering how their lives ended. It's truly devastating to lose two people who were so deeply connected and so talented. Anita's love for photography not only captured the beauty of Marin's wetlands but also inspired so many others to appreciate the natural world around us. Her photos felt alive, almost speaking to you with the stories they told. Michael, on the other hand, was such a pillar in the community from his days running Tropicana Pools. I can't imagine how challenging it must have been for him as his memory started to fade. Aging can be incredibly difficult, especially when you’ve led such an active life. It's incredibly sad that their health struggles may have taken them down this dark path. My heart goes out to their family and friends who not only lost loved ones but are left to grapple with how it all happened. It’s a stark reminder of the profound emotional impact health issues can have on individuals and relationships.
