I’ve been reading up on Michael Fernandez’s case and couldn't help but think about how difficult it must be for his family and friends, wondering if they'll ever get the answers they desperately need. New Orleans has had so many unsolved cases, and it’s deeply frustrating to see them stacking up with so few resolutions. What I find encouraging, though, is the work being done by the Cold Case Unit. They're applying modern techniques like DNA testing and revisiting old evidence, and I genuinely hope these efforts lead to breakthroughs. But it also underscores how essential it is for the community to come forward if they have any information, no matter how insignificant it might seem. Michael deserves justice, and his family deserves peace of mind. If anyone out there knows anything or has heard something, please, please step forward. Even the smallest tip could be the puzzle piece that finally connects all the dots. Let's all keep hoping that after all these years, the people involved in his murder are brought to justice. ?️
