I've been thinking about the timing and circumstances of Gabriel Shea Carlos's tragic death. It's been over six years, and the lack of clarity on what motivated such a senseless act still baffles me. After reading more about him, I can't help but wonder if the switch from Duarte High School to Mount Olive played any role in making him a target, or if it was purely random. Shea seemed like he was on the path to turning things around, with a new job and plans for the future. It's devastating for his friends and family who have had to live without answers while seeing his promising journey cut short. If anyone remembers anything unusual from that night, even if it seems insignificant, it might make all the difference for the investigators. We owe it to him and his loved ones to piece together the truth.
