I was recently reading through some older cases, and the disappearance of Anthony Colfax Peters caught my attention. Does anyone else find it odd that he would go missing without collecting his tribal per capita checks? I mean, that's basically his income source, so it seems pretty out of character for him not to access them, right? If he was really in dire straits, you'd think those checks would be crucial.
Also, do we know if authorities have looked into whether the checks were attempted to be cashed by someone else? Maybe there's a clue there that hasn't been explored fully. It just seems like such a significant detail that someone might have missed. If anyone has more on how tribal payments have been handled in other cases, I'd love to hear about it. Maybe there's a chance to connect some dots.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Anthony "Tony" Colfax Peters and wanted to discuss something that caught my attention: his tribal per capita checks. Since Tony disappeared in October 2014, none of these payments have been collected. This seems like a significant clue. Someone living on the streets and moving around a lot would really need those funds, right? It’s not like these checks are small amounts—it’s a lifeline for some. The fact that the checks are untouched makes me wonder if something happened to him right around the time of his last sighting. Also, is it possible these checks could have been used to track his movements if they had been collected? I’m curious what others think about this angle. Could this be the key to unlocking more about where Tony might have gone? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts, especially if anyone has insights into how these payments work or potential ways it could aid in the investigation!
