Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions on the day Lisa Costello disappeared? I've been wondering if perhaps the weather could have influenced her decision to bolt from the car. Martinez in mid-October could be pretty unpredictable, right? If it was cold or stormy, maybe she'd be more likely to seek immediate shelter, which might have led her to places she'd otherwise avoid. Just thinking if it was somehow extra challenging that day, it might narrow down where she could have headed initially. Does anyone know if this aspect has been looked into by the authorities or discussed in any previous threads?
I’ve always wondered about the timing of Lisa Costello’s disappearance. Isn't it strange that she managed to slip away right when they stopped for gas? It's hard not to think it was planned, or maybe she recognized where they were and saw an opportunity. I grew up not far from Martinez, and I know how quickly a teen could vanish in a busy area. Does anyone remember if there was any surveillance footage from nearby businesses? I feel like that could’ve provided crucial leads at the time. Even after all these years, it's baffling how someone could disappear just like that without a trace. I'm hoping someone will remember something that could help bring Lisa home.
Does anyone have any insight about the gas station where Lisa was last seen? I’ve been trying to find out if there were any surveillance cameras there or eyewitnesses who might have seen something that day. It’s frustrating that there hasn't been much public information on this. If there were cameras, maybe they captured which direction she went or if anyone approached her. It's been so long, but anything could help at this point. If anyone local to the area remembers something, it would be great to know. Sometimes the smallest details can make a difference.
