I've been following Robert Roush's case for a while, and there's something that's been puzzling me. In his last communication with his sister, he mentioned losing his wallet but still having his New York ID. Has anyone dug into whether someone might have tried to use that ID or any other form of identification he might have had? It seems like if he was planning to travel home, his ID could have been critical for buying bus tickets or checking into any accommodations. I'm curious if law enforcement has tracked any of that down. Sometimes it's these small details that can make a big difference. Anyone else find that odd or know if there's been an update on this aspect?

Has anyone looked into sightings of Robert Roush along other sections of the Appalachian Trail after he left Daleville? It's curious that he was so upfront about wanting to hike it before he vanished. Maybe he met someone on the trail who offered him a ride, and something went wrong, or he decided to continue hiking. I wonder if more intensive searching in those hiker registers along the trail sections could bring some clues. It's always possible that he made another call or used a resource to try and reach out somehow. Feels like looking into various trail towns could be crucial!
