I’ve been following the case of Jesus Estevez Martinez since it happened, and I keep coming back to the bravery the surviving victim showed. Being shot in the face and yet managing to survive is incredible. I can’t imagine the physical and emotional scars she must carry, not to mention living with the trauma of that night.
