It’s been just over six years, and I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that no one’s been held accountable for Willie Lee Williams’ murder. I feel so deeply for his family, who must be desperate for answers and justice. I’ve read through everything I can find, but it’s almost eerie how little information there is about that day. I came across the bit about nobody coming forward with witness accounts, which just boggles my mind. In such a populated area, how is it possible that no one saw or heard anything that might help?

Sometimes fear of retaliation or a general mistrust of law enforcement can keep people tight-lipped. I’ve heard that the area can be quite active, and possibly not the safest spot, but does anyone know what the typical foot traffic or local activity is like around there?
