I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact this must have on Erick's school friends and their families. I can only imagine how hard it must be for classmates and teachers to process something so senseless and tragic. Erick sounded like such a sweet soul, and I can see how much his gentle nature must have brightened up his school environment. It's tough enough navigating high school, and having to cope with losing a friend in such a brutal way is unimaginable. I hope the school is offering counseling and support to those who need it. Sometimes, talking about these things can be crucial in healing.
