Has anyone else looked into the role that the local community might have played around the time of Mitchell McNeil's tragic death? It's heartbreaking to think about his family not having answers after all these years. I read somewhere that Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans had put out rewards for any tips leading to an arrest. With so many unsolved cases piling up back then, I imagine the community might have felt helpless or perhaps fearful to come forward with information. I can't help but think about how important community involvement is in helping resolve such cases. Awareness and support can sometimes lead to breakthroughs, so I hope people who knew Mitchell or were in the area back in 2010 might recall something valuable. Sending thoughts to Mitchell's loved ones; let's hope justice finds its way soon.
