Does anyone else find it frustrating how many of these cases from 2010 still haven’t been solved? I’ve been reading about Dale Alexander’s case, and I keep thinking about how difficult it must be for his family to go so long without answers. It seems like back then, the NOPD really struggled with resources and getting cooperation from witnesses. I wonder how much progress could have been made if there was more community trust and more officers available to actively work on these cases. It’s so important that we remember victims like Dale and continue to push for breakthroughs, even years later. It just makes me appreciate the role of community involvement because it might be one of the best ways to finally bring justice and give families the peace they deserve.

I've been following the tragic case of Dale Alexander, and it really hits home how critical community involvement is in these situations. It pains me to see another life lost to gun violence, and it seems like his murder highlighted the struggles many families in New Orleans went through during that difficult time. What strikes me the most is how essential witness cooperation becomes in solving these cases, yet fear and distrust often prevent people from coming forward. I wonder if there's more we can do to support witnesses, so they feel safe enough to share any information they might have. It's heartbreaking to think there might be people out there carrying the weight of what they know, afraid to speak up. In Dale's case and so many others, those missing pieces of information could be what leads to justice for him and closure for his loved ones. How can we better support community members to change this cycle?

I’ve been following Dale Alexander’s case, and I can't help but think about the broader implications it had on the community back in 2010. The city was grappling with so many issues at the time, and it seemed like every week brought another tragic headline. Dale’s murder really struck a chord because it highlighted how stretched thin the NOPD was back then. I’ve read that they had trouble securing witnesses and getting people to come forward, likely due to fear and distrust. It must have been so difficult for Dale’s family to cope with this hopeless feeling of wanting answers and justice, yet seeing no resolution in sight for so long. It’s frustrating how the community had to endure such high crime rates with limited law enforcement support. Sending thoughts to everyone who loved Dale and hoping for continued advancements that can bring resolution to families caught in similar situations.
