It's just so sad to think about how a simple trip to a grocery store could end in such terrible tragedy. I can't stop thinking about Chris Combs' family and friends who have to live with this loss every day. From what I've read, Chris was such a remarkable young man - full of life and incredibly talented. He seemed to have a bright future ahead of him. It’s chilling to realize how quickly life can change. What's striking here is the age of the suspects involved. It makes me wonder what pushes someone so young to commit such a heinous act. Eric Lamar Sloan Jr. was only 14 years old... that’s shocking. I know that’s just one part of the story, but it’s troubling to think about kids being caught up in something so destructive. It’s a devastating situation all around. I hope the families find some form of peace, even though I know that's not easy. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
