Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about how devastating this whole situation must have been for Kacey’s family, especially her young son who was there during the shooting. I can't even imagine everything he's had to process at such a young age. It’s really upsetting to think that a child had to witness such violence and then make that terrifying escape. I truly hope he's getting the support and care he needs to begin healing from all of this. Children should never have to bear such heavy burdens. Has there been any mention of how the community is supporting him or if there are any ongoing resources for kids who experience such trauma? Let’s keep discussing how we can raise awareness about these issues to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
