Whenever I drive past the corner of Old Lake Drive and Sunny Mead Ranch Parkway, I can’t help but think of Eli and Lil JJ. What really gets to me is the mural their friends painted on the side of the building facing the parking lot. It's such a powerful tribute with those vibrant colors, showing Eli and JJ together smiling—captures the essence of brotherhood. I pass by it on my way to work and it always reminds me how these two young lives were taken so violently and unjustly. No family should endure such pain. I hope the community keeps up these calls for an end to gun violence. It's important to remember Eli and JJ, and work towards preventing future tragedies. My heart really goes out to their family and friends who have shown incredible strength throughout. ?
