Does anyone else find it incredibly frustrating that investigations like Joshua Weathersby’s case seem to stall after a certain point? ? It must be so tough for his family and friends, knowing that the person responsible is still out there. I can only imagine the pain they’re going through, especially every time another year passes without an arrest. It’s mind-boggling that, despite witnesses and another person being injured in the chaos, no concrete leads have emerged publicly. I’ve seen similar cases where silence breaks eventually, thanks often to a sudden tip or piece of evidence. Maybe some more public pressure or media coverage could help here? My heart goes out to those who knew and loved Joshua. They deserve answers and some peace. Let’s hope this year brings that long-awaited breakthrough. ?
I’ve been following Joshua Weathersby’s case ever since it happened in 2018, and it's so disturbing how easily an argument escalated to such a tragic end. It makes me think about the dangers any of us could face just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I can’t imagine how frustrating and painful it must be for Joshua’s family and friends not to have answers after all these years.
The police have been working on this case for a long time now, yet they’re keeping so much under wraps. I hope someone comes forward with information soon. It's frustrating that the suspect was just able to vanish like that after causing so much pain. The offer of a $15,000 reward seems significant, and I truly hope it encourages someone to provide the necessary leads to bring justice for Joshua and his family. Oakland has been through so much, and this senseless violence needs to end. Joshua deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
