I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on the kids. Losing a parent in such a violent and random way must be incredibly difficult to process, especially with no answers or justice in sight. It seems that Phavong was trying his best to provide for his family and give them a better life. The resilience he must have had to come from Cambodia and build a life here is inspiring, and to have that taken away is just so tragic. I really hope someone comes forward with information soon. The family deserves some closure and support from the entire community. How are the local authorities handling this case? Have they called in any outside help?
